Tournament torrent reviews

Brian C (ca) wrote: Hayride really exceeds its tropes...and this movie utilizes a lot. In the end it is enjoyable. There is a really neat antagonist, good mythos, decent characters and a great 'cover' for the antagonist to work in.

Jennifer X (kr) wrote: it was a stupid NOT scary movie. the plot was so weird..so many de ja vus u get lost. alittle gory

Don S (ag) wrote: I really don't mind taking chances on low-budget movies. It is like panning for gold. Every now and then you get a nugget. This isn't that time. This was made in 16 days for $100,000. The acting is okay, but someone needed to write a story that viewers could follow. The trip into the forest seemed pointless, and the end result of the trip was never in doubt. Nice try, but fail.

Arseniy V (fr) wrote: Somewhat interesting stylistically, but the overall thesis seems poorly thought out.

Federico F (nl) wrote: Reso pi interessante dalla tecnica del digitale, ma rimane sempre un film di serie B

Timothy M (it) wrote: Feels less substantial than Leigh's other films, with the performances being a bit more overwrought than usual. It's decent enough, but apart from the relationship between Jane Horrocks' character and her mother, most everything else is worn on sleeves, leaving the cathartic scenes towards the end a bit weaker.

Aaron W (mx) wrote: A bit scatter-brained and rather poorly edited with one of the most annoying choices for a narrator possible. Towards the end it gets more coherent and interesting; and there are some pretty nifty and comedically over-the-top fight scenes, but it certainly isn't the masterpiece that it's been built up to be.And were there really that many set bear traps just laying all over the place back then? Jesus christ, it's like accidentally fall down and you've got a fifty percent chance of getting your arm cut off.

Becca A (br) wrote: Since we have been together I have felt more uncomfortable, out of place, embarassed, and just physically sick then I have in my entire life. But I could not have gone through that, I could not have thrown up 19 times in 48 days if I was not in love with you.

Kevin M W (kr) wrote: The floating camcorder. I hate it. An active living breathing hate of bile and vomit and shit. So fugging manipulative. An hour plus of set-up which includes some halfass and boring get-to-know-the-cast "jovial" clowning and then the real fun begins. The remainder of the film too shaky, too dark to see anything, overly loud snotty breathing, loads of yelling: "What? What? I can't see! Where is everyone? Help me! HELP! AAAAAAAAAAUGH! What happened? Where is everyone? Help me!" The End. And what? In a supposedly visual medium you've been conned into watching ... nothing. I fugging hate it.

Ollie W (kr) wrote: I found this to be more enjoyable than the first. The first has a very good premise and some good moments but as a whole isn't amazing. This film puts things on a bigger scale and makes it intentionally parody-like. So I'd suggest watching both with friends if you're looking for something alright to watch and maybe laugh at.

Barbara J (de) wrote: Entertaining enough, but pretty forgettable. I forgot I watched this years ago.

Koen H (nl) wrote: this was just terrible .. not a B, C, but D movie!
