All to often these days though ,its either forgotten or out of the films reach. Blair witch helped a generation to "re"discover the art form. It was far from pioneering the method though, no matter the originality of its sell point. Its for this reason I will stop short comparing the tunnel with the rest of the band wagon reviewers that have conveniently boarded that train. No pun. The tunnel has made good on what early horror was built on. It relies on the viewer to be willing to connect , to surrender any outside distraction and enter the dark. Then once it has lured you into position it has you fucked ,its got you. The viewer becomes the prey. It is indeed very well shot, directed & the edit makes it. There was a time before the bells and whistles of explosive block buster heroin quick fix . Anyone that remembers such a time will feel this release.

Matthew L (gb) wrote: A total miscalculation. Like every other lame and unnecessary Disney sequel, this "Twist in Time" is one that betrays everything the original stood for. Never watch this garbage in your life.
Peter S (it) wrote: The write up is very misleading - it aint a cruise liner, its a ferry and it aint the sub that ruptures the fuel tanks on the ship, there's a gun battle on the car deck and a truck explodes. I can tolerate dodgy effects and a certain amount of passable, hammy acting but when a story is so poorly put together as this - that's what really lets a film down.
Cynthia S (de) wrote: I expected more from an Oliver Stone directed war story. Much more. This is ridiculously bad. The story is soul-less, and none of the characters are fleshed out enough to care about. The acting, and dialogue laughable.

MF J (mx) wrote: Probably one of the best film to ever hit the screens, this awesome comedy by legendary Charles Chaplin is very funny, well done, smart and touching. A complete treasure from the early time of cinema. A film that deserves to be rediscovered by new generations. Masterpiece.
