Sanal R (ca) wrote: Senna is one of the best documentaries out there. Quite an absorbing tale and that coming from a person who knows nothing about Formula 1.

Laurie T (us) wrote: an elegiac tribute to the scruffy city best known for producing the Beatles. The director says early on that he didn't care for them, that he was more likely to listen to Bruchner. He also makes fun of the Church and is no fan of the monarchy, the Betsy and Phil club that paraded around in Cinderella carriages while a nation was on rations. He is not any fonder of the church which did not approve of his homosexuality. But he gives us a beautiful portrait of small children carefully dressed and bathed, tottering around the sooty streets and buildings, of the warm, welcoming pubs, of the hardworking Liverpudlians. Even if he didn't fit in there, this documentary makes it clear that he has a loving image of Liverpool in his heart.

Chandra R (us) wrote: Decent flick.. Nothing to write home about but it's definitely a Bmovie. Acting was weak, and way too many ugly boobs for my liking haha

Dutch V (nl) wrote: So I was excited to see this. Not because I was under the impression that it would be some masterpiece, but rather Hopper, Sizemore, and Seagal are awesome so it should be at least okay right? Unfortunately it was a a movie about Sizemore and Hopper, but because Seagal was in it they had to throw him in, in parts that didn't make sense and then come go time they decide to actually use Seagal and he kills a few people. This movie had a decent story, sort of it was just executed poorly. Hell a movie where Seagal wasn't in it, or it was just Seagal as a protagonist it would have been entertaining.

Todd G (jp) wrote: John Cleese has a role in this South African coming-of-age story. Fairly derivitive boarding school story, but entertaining. The chemistry between the boys works and the writing builds a keen friendship between the two underdogs.

Margarita S (br) wrote: This is a slow and initially painstakingly pretentious burn, but once the crux of the action happens, it picks up nicely. The thematic flow isn't as well constructed as Allen's other works and at times feels superficially intellectual, but it's still a reasonably enjoyable ride. Individual performances are quite good even if some pairings are a little awkward together.
