Trevor Noah: Crazy Normal

When his aspirations of becoming a champion monkey trainer came crashing down after a freak one wheel bicycle accident, this good humoured young man turned his dab hand to the entertainment industry and he has never looked back. Now an award winning, world class stand up comedian, Trevor Noah¿s explosion onto the entertainment scene has been all encompassing, taking on television, radio and obviously his first love, stand up comedy, which he has performed on both local, as well as international stages. Being the astute performer that he is, our man has also very quickly became a favourite in the corporate world as a top class MC. With hobbies that include helping old people 'I have a passion for the aged' he was once quoted as saying, and dabbling in the odd bit of table tennis and darts, this is a man who is right at the cutting edge of modern entertainment.

Jeremy B (au) wrote: Movies like this work best if the unseen forces remain unseen. Our minds can fill in things far better than any F/X. The movie does this well up to a point and while not overly scary up to the point, it has suspense and has you filling in the blanks. When they start to show some of the things haunting the place it loses the scare factor and changes the atmosphere of the movie. I think the premise itself is a bit too close to Grave Encounters but still distinguishes enough not to be a copy. Everyone is cashing in on the Blair Witch style horror/thrillers much like the slasher films of the 80's cashed in on Halloween's success. A lot of good was spawned from it and some not so good. I think the production on this a lot better than most of the movies mace in this style. While it is not the best of it's genre it certainly is not the worst and if you enjoy this method of filming then you will want to see this movie.

Mayank A (nl) wrote: Twisted. Too many betrayals in the story made it loose it charms. The performances and direction were also not up-to the standard of its predecessor. While still a good movie it just didn't have the intensity of the first one.

Lucas Y (ca) wrote: Messy script and very silly at times, but one my top 5 action movies ever. The silliness is made up for by the sick & twisted feel and brilliant direction by John Woo. The 2 leads are awesome, but Nicolas Cage is perfect as both Archer and Troy. Face Off is timeless awesomeness.

Down And Out In Beverly Hills is a movie I remember my parents renting on VHS when it was a new release. I sat up and watched it with them and while I didn't really comprehend the story, there were certain images that stuck with me. I've watched it a few times over the years and again just now. It a fun movie. A homeless bum, Jerry (Nick Nolte), attempts suicide in the backyard pool of a Beverly Hills millionaire couple (Richard Dreyfus & Bette Midler). He is rescued by Dreyfus and given a room in the house. It's then a case of two worlds colliding with a series of comical situations which eventually turn into something more tender. Nick Nolte is great and Richard Dreyfus is excellent as always. I love him! To this day whenever I think of Nick Nolte I immediately picture him eating dog food out of a doggy bowl. hehehe. Down And Out In Beverly Hills brings back some good memories.
