Andrew W (es) wrote: Who would think that a film with such a lame sounding plot would turn out to be so good? It keeps you enthralled from start to finish. Strong performances from Viggo, Omar and the horse, visually striking, morally centred and uplifting.

Will V (br) wrote: I've always liked this film.. Yes, it's really an 80s flavor movie (even has the freeze frame slow fade to black as the credits begin to roll at the end) many early 90s films were very 80s-ish.. the story may be a bit weak in spots, and some of the characters are a little one dimensional.. but, that said, it's not the typical "ski porn" that most ski movies are. It tries to tell a story, and does a pretty decent job of it. I hadn't watched it in many years, and just caught it last night -- still enjoy it.

Gareth D (gb) wrote: Usually the word masterpiece is liberally and wrongly attributed to just about any film people have a fancy for. In the case of Straw Dogs, the word is 100% justified.

Michael W (de) wrote: The first time I've seen Monroe not play a dumb blonde or a gold-digger.

Ashley H (gb) wrote: Annie Get Your Gun is an amazing film. It is about the story of the great sharpshooter, Annie Oakley, who rises to fame while dealing with her love/professional rival, Frank Butler. Betty Hutton and Howard Keel give fantastic performances. The screenplay is well written. George Sidney did a great job directing this movie. I enjoyed watching this motion picture because of the music and humor.
