Bill B (ag) wrote: This comedy has its moments, but I was a bit distracted by the Napoleon Dynamite feel of it all, as the characters all seem to be in a contest to see who can be more maladjusted or quirky in everyday life. There is some humor to be found here, but I think I would've enjoyed it more had the characters all not been on '10' for the duration of the film.Oh well, coulda, woulda, shoulda.Rental?

Private U (ca) wrote: Great modern Sherlock Holmes that was completely underrated by critics and overlooked by audiences. Fine performances from all the actors and a good story make this well worth watching.

Eytan D (ru) wrote: "Anaconda" is not a movie to be taken seriously. The acting is cheesy, particularly on Jon Voight's part (he goes over-the-top here), and the story is classic creature feature territory. But that's what makes it entertaining. It's flawed but good fun.

Chad S (kr) wrote: Worst movie I have ever seen in my lifetime. Susan Suranwrap is disgusting gross. If you like 80 year old woman sleeping with young kids than this movie is for you.

Richard D (br) wrote: Pretty typical for Corman's series of nurse films. Three young attractive nurses (technically not actual nurses this time, I guess) each get their own plot line that involves solving a problem and taking off their clothes a lot (one nurse actually gets to solve the problem by taking off her clothes a lot). This film features the highest profile actress in a nurse role ... Candice Rialson. You know exactly what you're getting with a film in this series, and this film does a good job of delivering it, balancing drama, comedy and nudity in pretty even doses.

Doctor S (br) wrote: An affective measured mysterious thriller in which a young woman is abducted and told tby her captor/rescuer that the world has ended due to Chemical warfare, nuclear explosion, or even an alien invasion. Joining her in this predicament is a simple minded handyman who fought his way into this bunker after witnessing The very onset of the cataclysm himself. Together they trying to side whether they are better or worse off locked up with a peculiar ex Navy conspiracy theorist. The movie makes good use of the cramped quarters and three person cast, making The audience wonder what has really happened. I did have a big problem with the use of Howard's daughter Megan was used as a device for suspicion, they tried to play her feet on both sides of the fence but when the final act arrives she is quickly swept under the rug in the hope that she has been forgotten, which didn't sit well at all with me. Otherwise I enjoyed the twists and turns and feeling of ambiguity.
