Facebook U (jp) wrote: Certainly complex and realistic. Apparently bits are taken from a real case. Some bits of stories seemed to come from a futuristic film, a bit dystopian. All the people looked a bit too sure of their own views.

Julio O (gb) wrote: A bit slow but the gore moments are worth the wait! For lovers of Asian horror!

Nicki M (us) wrote: Hammy, particularly in the early parts. A very strange mix of comedy and more serious parts. Enjoyed it for the beautiful sights of Kyoto and the Maiko and Geisha costumes.

Max C (jp) wrote: Spoiler Alert: This movie will break your heart, but to be honest it's worth it. As it kept going it only became more interesting through the excellent acting and brilliant writing. It also happens to be a very beautiful and well shot film with powerfully striking scenes. My only complaint is that it tried to have a happy ending, and that in effect ruined the beautiful sadness it brought out in me.

Henry F (ca) wrote: this movie rocks! pretty accurate in terms of cultural behaviors. slightly exaggerated, but it was awesome.

Matthew H (au) wrote: Rushmore is an interesting film. It is Wes Anderson's first big feature film (unless you want to count Bottle Rocket), so his signature quirky style isn't quite developed yet. However, there are elements present in the film that he later used more often in his movies. Consider this a pre-concert to his philharmonic debut. As for the movie itself, it has a sweet story, and Jason Schwartzman's character is one that we can relate to. The concept of Rushmore itself is a metaphor tossed around during the film, and the movie's themes of loyalty and friendship are well-received.

Keenan S (it) wrote: Reefer Madness is a wild and outlandish film about the evils of smoking marijuana. The film is so over the top goofy that it becomes surreal and feels almost like the 8 1/2 of marijuana-themed films. The acting and dialogue are hilariously terrible, the violence portrayed is preposterous, the message is highly exaggerated, and it's pure fun to watch because of all these flaws. While the film does drag somewhat during certain scenes since it takes itself so seriously, the film as a whole is quite fun to watch because of how weird, goofy, and surreal it is.
