He's held hostage by an insane guy who thinks Marc is his wife, surrounded by woods filled with deranged men who fuck animals. Every attempt at escape is pitiful. And the more hopeless things seem, the closer Marc is to a full breakdown. My only gripe is the ending could have been a bit longer and shown a full resolution. I'm sure the director wanted to leave it open-ended, but this is one of those movies where I just wanted a clear end. Still, this film was fucken great. Creepy as hell is an understatement. Finally, Belgium gives us something to give a shit about other than waffles.

Its not 100% accurate to his Bolivian diary, barely puts the role of the CIA in Guevara's capture, nor does portray how Fidel retired his support for Che. Very disappointing film, especially after the first one.But but if you watch both films back to back it is a true masterpiece.

(es) wrote: Well, I didn't see the first one but I assume that it was just as charming as this one. It's really hard to criticize a film like this, populated by all these great, mature actors. 'Nuff said.
(kr) wrote: My Best Friend's Wedding was a surprise to me as I thought it was going to be all right. The plot is really simple, but it's unpredictable which is rare to see coming from a romantic comedy like this. Julia Roberts is really good and funny, and so is the supporting cast. There were some parts that the main character is really mean-spirited, but she's not mean spirited all the way as she does embarrassing things that'll go back to her character being funny again. It's well written, it's really funny, and it has drama moments that are well effective. It might be a bit too long, but it kept me interested throughout the entire movie. My Best Friend's Wedding is better than I thought it was going to be, and just also surprised that my best friend has the same opinion as I do consider that we keep getting different opinions from movies.
