Shelley M (ag) wrote: The film was an emotional journey following the rise and fame of this gigantic success they call- 'Katy Perry'. You will be smitten by the quality of her stage sets, costumes and supportive crew that walk with her every step of the way. I didn't realise the hardship one has to endure whilst juggling fame and personal life. Katy is a true inspiration to both young and old followers. She shows that her fans come first, even before her own health and happiness, to me, that is absolute dedication. Take the opportunity to explore the world of Katy Perry and discover all that is behind the colors, glitter and music, it's a thrill. She deserves recognition far beyond what she receives.

Andrew D (nl) wrote: Act 1 is brilliant - a terrifying, sensual, nightmarish homage to Dario Argento. Act 2 is boring filler. Act 3 has a nasty torture scene and is better than the second act, but still feels pointless.

Eric R (ag) wrote: A groups of friends on the way to a wedding get stranded in the middle of nowhere when their car gets stuck. They find a house but it's locked and no one appears to be home. What they don't know, is that an evil force has killed the inhabitants and will soon be after them. Ti West's early effort isn't necessarily anything special, but it really does showcase his ability to create at atmospheric horror feature. The way the film is shot, directed, and lit really show his potential. This is a very low budget film, and besides the production value being low, you would never know it because how effective it is. West really understands what most filmmakers these days seem to completely miss, that in horror more often than not less is more. I have read complaints about this film being Slow or boring which make no sense to me at all. Are these people six or something? It's no surprise he went on to make the superb House of The Devil, and I can't wait to see what he's got next. West clearly understands horror.

Onie S (us) wrote: I liked this movie, although I'm not crazy about it. It was a letdown after watching First Contact. It's beautifully shot, there's some good acting in it, and it has some humour as well. It's just didn't live up to what it should have been.

Kenny N (it) wrote: Everyone completely embarrasses themselves here. It's downright painful to watch. And 2 hours?! Criminy, this is a t&a flick, not a Coppola movie! An hour and a half is about all any non-wankers could take of this nonsense. One of the worst of all time, so bad it's stupid. (My favorite line: "Man, everybody's got AIDS and $h!t!" I need to incorporate that into everyday conversation. I'm sure I'll open some eyes.)

Tim W (nl) wrote: Spin-off of a spin-off is just a bad idea. Lacking in charm and spirit, and a completely unnecessary movie.

Kaitlyn R (ca) wrote: It sounds like an ok movie that I should maybe try someday.

Amber A (ru) wrote: an over the top, trashy terminator rip-off, featuring a revenge-bent woman with an eel in her vagina that bites the dicks of off the men she takes to bed. my kind of film.

Rich B (us) wrote: A classic. Terrific performances, wonderfully shot, and a compelling story. I'd give it 6 stars if it were legal.

Jenn T (es) wrote: I love Kevin Sorbo! This was of course good as always.

Paul D (fr) wrote: Offbeat but simple story of pioneer survival. Harris has little to say in a mostly scriptless film, but the visuals are strong and this does enhance the greater meaning inside the story and the characters.

Gillian M (us) wrote: I'm currently watching these in order and this one is probably my favourite so far. However, I couldn't give it a higher rating than the others because once again near the end I got really bored. This has so far happened while watching every single one, I have found all the climaxes of the films disappointingly anticlimactic. I did however absolutely love the film's humour, I laughed out loud quite a few times and I also really liked Domino. For me she is the only Bond girl so far to match Honey Ryder.

Rangan R (es) wrote: Under house arrest in a haunted house!Absolutely a kick-ass horror-comedy from the Kiwi. In a horror, usually we expect too much, particularly we calculate them according to how much it scares us. That's a tough job for the filmmaker, but when the comedy tag was attached to it which makes even tougher. In this kind of theme, very rarely people say they're satisfied enough and this is one of those. Yep, a surprise film written and directed by a newcomer. Since it is a New Zealand film, I don't anybody from it, but they all were excellent. Particularly the lead woman was unbelievably good, totally loved her, kind of reminds Nia Vardalos of 'My Big Fat Greek Wedding' fame and her expressions too matches for in this film. The story was familiar, even some part of it can be compared to the recent film 'The Boy'. Likewise, other pieces from different films, but I did not care, because it still looked fresh of its own. The way it was developed contributed to the film's success and those suspense lived up to the hype that were made in the early stage of narration. The woman who won't get scared easily, finally meets her ultimate fear after returning to her mother's house where she grew up. But only to discover the house is haunted, followed by mysterious events and the final confrontation between her and whoever on the opposite.Great setting with the awesome performances, and always keeps us on the edge. But the laughs were delivered in the form of black comedy. The twists and turns make the film to flip to the opposite side after reaching at one point of the narration leaving the viewers to judge how strongly it linked to its genre. But I don't think most of them care about that since they're already entertained and only going to witness the final thrilling conclusion. I hope there won't be any follow up, because this one-off film was one of the best from the down under, so I don't want it to be ruined, like they do in the Hollywood. Recommended, you will enjoy it even your rating does not meet what I've given.7/10

Carlos M (fr) wrote: A silly yet enjoyable movie that continues to portray Holmes as a modern action hero, not trying anything new compared to the previous chapter and just going for a safe plot that is never daring. Still, it is a lot of fun, with an exciting mind battle as climax.

Marc R (ca) wrote: Terrifically acted and perceptively satirical. Lumet's direction is as assured and textured as ever, and Pacino creates one of the most memorable of modern film characters.
