KJ P (gb) wrote: The only flaw of the film is that halfway through, you already know the ending. Still, by knowing, the film is so well made that it pulls you in and makes you want to stick around and await the inevitable ending. Michelle Monaghan pulls off an Oscar-Worthy performance as "Diane Ford", and the rest of the solid cast help keep this movie on it's high octane cylinders of brilliant storytelling. Trucker is a must see drama!

Pavandeep S (es) wrote: I love historical movies and even flawed films such as Casanova were awesome in my eyes but this was just plain silly. Swashbuckle films always hit me the most due to their style and humour. I know De Broca has a reputation an d he is probably good and I will watch more by him but this film has it all coming, it is so obvious, it was really a bore and never allows anything to arrive that makes intrigued, everything is done like an amateur writer's work, no excitement and the only things that were worth noting is one of the set-pieces where the sword kills through the head which is vulnerable unless you wear an helmet and where the guy gets shot and leave, that was good though nothing new and thee acting of the arch-villain was awesome as well as were his look but his personaluty were barely explored and overall, a disappointment. The music was utterly fine as well but maybe was badly used.

Eric M (nl) wrote: The setting/premise is better than the movie, but while "Gattaca" might be too on the nose and tie things up artificially neatly, it tosses around enough interesting ideas while offering up ambitious visuals to make up for it. No classic, and rather stilted acting throughout, but still entertaining and just engaging enough to be worth a watch. The score is a bit overbearing in film, but undeniably beautiful.

Shawn W (jp) wrote: The reliable Harvey Keitel stars in this Canadian film as a former top surveillence researcher now reduced to spying on his tenants as the owner of a cheap motel. Keitel gets his arm twisted into plying his former trade for a drug ring on a rival organization staying at his motel and picks up on a murder plot where he falls for the intended victim. Lots of twists here, maybe one too many for its own good.
