Wes S (it) wrote: Colorful and a bit fun, but the story is way out there. Most of the original characters are now played by a different cast, and the ending still isn't very climatic nor did it make much sense. It still had it's fun moments though.

John W (es) wrote: Aliens among us story that largely takes place in a charter flight terminal (terminal invasion get it??). Lightweight film that is really a vehicle for Bruce Campbell to do what he does so very well - glower and throw one-liners. Campbell fans (or Saturday afternoon SyFy fans) will enjoy it.

Charles M (ca) wrote: A great flick to watch for a musician, especially a brass player like myself. Note of error found in film: in one scene Jim is carrying a tuba with the bell on his left, but when he is playing it's a tuba with the bell on his right (valves also have different configurations). My wife said that as a tuba player I would be the only one to notice this. Oh, and remember it's not a trumpet, it's a bloody euphonium!

scott g (ca) wrote: A interesting concept at its heart, but the film takes turns and comes off silly at times, typical 80s fair going on. but the film for what it is is entertaining in a bad movie kinda way, Krisstofferson ir a embarressment, and Cheryl ladd the same. two people in love coming off badly, its laughable but i was oddly hooked

I'm not prepared to get laid."-Robert Cole (Albert Brooks) I didn't find it insightful, and it was scarcely funny. I did however find the sound mixing scene to be a knee slapper. Also George Kennedy played himself, which rocks.
James H (ag) wrote: 92/100. Georgy Girl is one of my favorite movies from the 1960's, especially because of the acting. Lynn Redgrave is incredibly good, so well cast, Charlotte Rampling is amazing and gives one of the best supporting performances ever. It's a great story, Silvio Narizzano's direction is very perceptive and stylish. It's funny, touching, poignant and the characters are developed superbly.
