(kr) wrote: as a fan of Alan Mak and Felix Chong, its rather(really) disappointing to see a material with great potential ends up like this. everything just gone all over the place after plot point 1, which is really discouraging...actions were dull and seeing Donnie Yen trying so hard yet failing sure adds on the depression, badly done

(gb) wrote: The only reason I saw this movie was because of the Day of the Dead in the title, but this flick only has zombies in the film for about 20 minutes. Apart from that 20 minutes there is nothing close to Zombie in the damn thing, so there is no point in watching it. Just stick George A Romero's Day of the Dead in the DVD play and just pretend this stinker does not exist. It is complete crap soiling the DotD name.
(ag) wrote: Gary Oldman is absolutely phenomenal here as Ludwig van Beethoven but the supporting cast is a bit overacted or sometimes wooden and fake. The film itself is a little confusing and slow but it's easy to forget that when you're wrapped up in the mystery, and when watching Oldman give a tour de force performance, and listening to the magnificent music of Beethoven.

(es) wrote: My fav movie! Tatum O'Neal is brilliant, and it just does such a great job of being a drama, comedy, and romance all at once. Probably the most groundbreaking movie ever, seriously I just love it!

(nl) wrote: Charming if very light comedy about artist/bachelor fending off the affections of bobby-soxer Shirley Temple and contending with her older sister, judge Myrna Loy who Grant is begin tried before. Throw in Rudy Vallee and Ray Collins and you have a cast that can't be beat and who help elevate some fairly lightweight material (written by Sidney Sheldon who won an Oscar for his original screenplay) and make it something of a minor classic.

(fr) wrote: This movie was OK, but a little dumb and brainless at times. The action and effects were good, though. Good cast.
(kr) wrote: Excellent documentary setting things straight about the genius of Michael Jackson, and his incredible professionalism. A delight to watch for those who admire this amazing artist. So much hard work, so many sacrifices and such unbelievable talent. Inspiring.
