Simon T (de) wrote: The strengths here are the central performances. They transcend the overly schematic plotting and self-conscious script, and almost convince you this is a small masterpiece. Unfortunately the director too often flirts with bathos, and you end up stifling laughs when there should be tears. But see it for the acting.
Clyde L (ag) wrote: Pleasantly surprised with this under-the-radar redemptive gem!!! This well-crafted movie was a quality, well-acted and produced pleasure to watch. The fantastic photography was an extra treat. I expected a "B" move or a political propaganda piece. Instead I found the dialog realistic and hard-hitting, and the acting was superb. This is a dark and serious movie, for mature movie viewers only. I gave this movie 5 stars because it blends my 2 favorite themes: redemptive and vigilante. This movie is NOT for kids, but unlike most movies, it promotes solid "family" values.

Tatsuhito K (es) wrote: It has a more focused story compare to the predecessor, and Jason Statham makes a likable protagonist. But in the end, it's more less the same film: a decent, over the top action thriller with no brain. It's derivative and forgettable and there's nothing particularly new. Transporter 2 is stylish and occasionally entertaining, but just not a good movie.

Alex W (de) wrote: This movie was well done but way to convoluted for its own good. It has a definite "rashomon" quality and it would have been better if they kept it at just that. it sad that films today still make this mistake by forcing to many twists.
Westleigh Q (au) wrote: Another Sci fi franchise with great potential ruined by terrible writing and just as terrible acting. Odd how this film parallels The Phantom Menace. Both were released around the same time, had genius kids who could build robots and sounded exactly the same, and had a super annoying CGI alien that was just awful.

I will watch this movie any time i run across it and enjoy it immensley every time. ANd all the kids that I have shown this too enjoy it just as much as I did as a child and still do as an adult.
