Unlocking the Mystery of Life represents a unique programming opportunity for local stations. Its broadcast release coincides with the 50th anniversary of one of the greatest scientific breakthroughs in history-James Watson and Francis Crick's discovery that the DNA molecule carries hereditary information in the form of a code that many scientists have likened to computer software or a written language. This discovery (announced on April 25,1953) sparked a scientific revolution. But it also left a fundamental question unanswered. Where did the information in DNA come from? How did the software in the cell arise? Unlocking the Mystery of Life explores these questions through the stories of a growing number of scientists who no longer believe that natural selection or chemistry, alone, can explain life's origin. Instead, they think that the microscopic world of the cell provides evidence of purpose and design in nature.

Yes!Is this movie a good revenge movie? YesDoes this movie have imaginative plot twists? YesDoes this movie include exotic locations? YesDoes this movie give you perspective on what is important in life? YesIf you can suspend reality for a moment to realize that things conveniently happen to advance the plot and that this movie isn't meant to be taken seriously then this movie will be pure enjoyment for you. Allow yourself to get wrapped up into the plot and don't pay too much attention to its weak points and you will find a movie that is just a good amount of entertainment.

Sam J (kr) wrote: Uncertainty is the perfect title for this piece of artsy trash because you're uncertain when the film will begin a coherent plot. I was actually insulted after I sat through the whole thing.

I think I would have been fine with it if Asano Tadanobu, who usually can do no wrong in my eyes, wasn't so poor during his english-speaking scenes. The plot is slow and often confusing - some of this may be intentional, but with a story that's so mildly driven, there's no excuse for avoiding elaboration on minor points. Hye-Jeong Kang was good but her character was never properly expounded so there is a clear disparity in the viewer's feelings towards her. Where LLitU was surprisingly good with its multilingual approach, Invisible Waves is too forced and a much less satisfying affair.
