Jason R (nl) wrote: One of the more oddball dramedies I have seen in some time. The cast and the story in FAT KID RULES THE WORLD are pretty amazing! Matthew Lillard has carved out a nice career for himself and if this movie is any indication of his talents behind the camera. We may be seeing some good stuff from him in the coming years. Jacob Wysocki is a very talented actor and I hope to see more of him, he made this movie!
Peter P (it) wrote: Interesting concept, but the effects are terrible, the acting horrible, (it was really sad to see the cigarette smoking man from X-Files looking so old in this) and the ending completely laughable.
Noname (es) wrote: Wneh i hear the name Renny Harlin i instantly think of "Action". He have made 2 of my fav action movies all time ,, Cliffhanger and Die Hard 2 aswell as many other good movies over the years. So this new flick became very interesting a while back when i read about it. Its was indeed as expected a solid action movie but more an average one this time with nothing special actually. The plot was a bit like Die hard 3 .. a police detective John Cena (The Marine 2006) must complete 12 different challenges to safe his girlfriend from a ex-convict. Its not the greatest performances aswell but i was pleased in the end to sum it all up.
John T (fr) wrote: This was pretty good. The cover blows and makes it look like a Russian flick, but it's about a apocalyptic future and robots fighting. It's worth a peek. -Cyber-Punk
Archibald T (de) wrote: This is a very good thriller. Hackman's character uses homeless people to experiment on to try and find a cure for people who are paralyzed or disabled in some way. Grant's character tries to figure out why a patient of his disappeared. His search leads him to Hackman who presents a question: If you could cure cancer by killing one person, wouldn't you have to do that? That's one of those questions where human nature is put to the test. Very thought provoking.

Astrotrain (jp) wrote: The only movie to feature almost feature all original cast members except Pat Priest. Herman inherits the Munster family estate in England, and must travel there to accept it. At the same time, the other Munster family members want to scare their cousin Herman out of the estate for their own. The Dragula makes its comeback in this as Hermans' race car to win the prize and the Munster estate. Look for a young Richard Dawson in the English pub when Lilly asks for directions.
Jamie C (us) wrote: I was expecting this one to be way better than it was, After Dr No was good but lacked the action this one is the same except less action, Although this one has more style and the plot was ok although it's over told for what it all comes down to, It's too slow and the ending wasn't nothing to shout about, There was no stand out scene, Sean Connery does well again they just use him wronge, It's far from the worst Bond but there are better ones too.
Grant S (jp) wrote: Great WW2 naval drama. Loosely based on the US defense of the Philippines during the first few months of the US's involvement in WW2. Examines a branch of the US Navy not often featured in movies - PT (Patrol Torpedo) boats. Quite gritty in its portrayal of the war in the Philippines, though the role of the PT boats is a touch overstated and over-glamorized. Solid direction by John Ford, as you would expect. Good action sequences and cinematography, especially for the time.John Wayne is his usual swaggering, gung-ho self in his role. Richard Montgomery got top billing and well-deserved it: solid, understated performance, especially when compared to Wayne's.
