Michael R (br) wrote: This is really bad. The only thing notable about the movie is that the assailant is a psycho woman instead of a man. The shrieks got old after a minute or two, but continue for the whole movie.

Becky B (br) wrote: what a crappy film. The alter ego of Jaime was so frikkin irritating and Kay is an awful actress.Besides, hasn't this plot happened before? Girl gets famous, rejects friends, they have nothing to do with them, girl suddenly realises what she has become?!

Adam T (it) wrote: Everything about this movie is perfect: each character is superbly written, perfectly acted and draw you in to the story. The story never gets old. I can watch this movie every day. I get choked up everytime I see it...or maybe I just happen to get something in my eye everytime I watch it. This is a must see.

Brandon W (us) wrote: Kramer vs. Kramer is a very realistic portrayal of divorce and child custody. My parents are going through full child custody, so seeing this movie really felt uncanny to me which can be hard to sit through at times, which is a good thing because that's how realistic it is. Dustin Hoffman and Meryl Streep are fantastic and they act like real-life parents. The characters are interesting enough for me to either care or hate about them in a good way. Justin Henry is actually really great, it's very interesting to see where it's going, and it's unpredictable. The movie is well-directed, well-written, and it's one of those movies that I can relate to because of what my sister and I are going through. It can be funny and cute at times, but when it goes to the drama, it's really effective.

Stuart K (gb) wrote: Directed by Joe Roth (Revenge of the Nerds II: Nerds in Paradise (1987) and Christmas with the Kranks (2004)), and written and produced by Billy Crystal, who had also wanted to direct it, but had trouble raising the money. When he took it to Roth, then head of Revolution Studios, Roth loved it so much, he wanted to direct it, Crystal agreed. It's a good comedy, sending up Hollywood publicity. Celebrity Hollywood couple Gwen Harrison (Catherine Zeta-Jones) and Eddie Thomas (John Cusack) are known as 'America's Sweethearts', and they've made a number of films together. However, after the production of their latest film, they had a highly publicised split, and the film's eccentric director Hal Weidmann (Christopher Walken), won't show a finished cut. Publicist Lee Phillips (Crystal) sets up a press junket at a remote hotel in Nevada in an attempt to get the couple back together to help the film's success. Gwen brings along her sister and personal assistant, Kiki (Julia Roberts), and new lover Hector (Hank Azaria), which fuel's Eddie's rage. It's a funny Hollywood satire, and there seems to be all too few of them these days, but this is a fluffy, lightweight comedy rather than dealing heavily with the wheeling-dealing of Hollywood. Crystal, unsurprisingly gets all the best lines in the film, but they are very funny one-liners.
