But things change when one of them falls in love setting of a chain of events which neither intended. Good film and debut from Evan Glodell.

Richard D (ag) wrote: An immensely strange film from Rivette. On the surface it's a thriller, but it's 3 hours long and really has about as much plot as you'd expect from a film of regular length. Genre conventions are largely thrown away here. The build up to what action there is is drawn out to incredible lengths without really attempting to build up suspense. The action is staged rather casually and indifferently. The plot centers on a murder and there's a twist, but it's all a bit sketchy and indifferently thought out. This will all make it sound like I didn't like the film, but I liked it a great deal. It all serves to highlight the stupidity and irrevocable nature of the violence. Besides that, it's extremely well-written in the sense that the actors are given a lot of thoughtful dialogue and actions inside the clumsily executed thriller maneuvers.

Max K (nl) wrote: Once upon a forest is a real treat for people who love the environment, it has memorable characters such as the furlings and their teacher Corneilius voiced brilliantly by Michael Crawford. The story centers around a wood mouse named abigail, a mole named edgar and a hedgehog named russell who embark on a journey to find a cure for their badger friend michelle (also corneilius' neice) who has been poisoned by the toxic fumes released into the fictional forest of dapplewood. Along the way they come across a creepy owl, a flock of gospel singing birds with one of them being voiced by broadway legend Ben Vereen. This story has a good heart which a person like me can embrace. Plus the furlings and corneilius are very likeable characters. In terms of music James Horner did a very good job with the musical score. My recommendation for this film is that if you want to teach your child something about the environment and how important it is to planet earth I suggest you should rent it out at blockbuster anywhere in your area. Overall it is a great movie with a good heart.

Kyle M (kr) wrote: It's like any foreign flick in its own way of being masterful through the performances and its tasteful storytelling technique, especially when the story put a nice resolve to the sporadic negativity that place this between watchable and enjoyable.
