(gb) wrote: It's starts off with bad music that doesn't fit the film and continues all the way through. The film is so cheesy with a bad script and questionable acting. Only made it half way through before turning it off.

(ag) wrote: This dark comedy gem starring Bernard Blier (the director's father) Depardieu and Jean Carmet as men who just need to kill. So many brilliant comic twists in the plot and the usual demented Blier dialog.

(de) wrote: Equilibrium is a disappointing film. It is about a man in charge of enforcing the law rises to overthrow the Fascist system. Christian Bale and Sean Bean give terrible performances. The script is badly written. Kurt Wimmer did a horrible directing this movie. I was not impressed with this motion picture.
(ag) wrote: This comedy had its moments of doubt with its similar plot formula, but this movie can really stand on its own with it hilarious path! It might not give me that laughter I received from 21 Jump Street, but it does do the trick to make you smile.
(ru) wrote: I was totally surprised at this movie. Was not expecting to enjoy it this much, but the rise and fall of Ricky Bobby was fitfully funny. Will Farrell is usually hit and miss, but he's supported quite well by Reilly and Cohen, who could have taken over this movie if they wanted. But its all Farrell's movie, and he's hilarious.
(us) wrote: In The Line of Fire gives us a great game of cat and mouse. Clint Eastwood is plagued by John Malkovich in this riveting film. Malkovich says he's going to kill the president, and he purposely calls Eastwood, and pushes his buttons. He questions Eastwood's ability to protect someone. Malkovich brings a cold, but very intelligent mindset to his character. Everything he does, he does for a reason, and he's not shy about killing. Eastwood has to overcome the suspicions of his superiors in order to catch Malkovich, but no one wants to listen to him. The result is a film that crackles with suspense that escalates to a tense scene in a ballroom at the Bonneventure Hotel. Wolfgang Peterson ratchets up the tension and we feel every turn.
