(ca) wrote: A thoroughly gripping horror flick, it lays the foundations for 'found-footage movies,' even with slightly weak narrative and flaws (which were built upon in future entries in the series). Strongest one so far.Verdict: B+

(ag) wrote: an average sequel to a scary trilage, the book was better.
(br) wrote: Hard as hell to sit through, but SO worth it if you do. Gary Oldman plays a Korean War veteran who cracks up and is sent to an asylum/prison camp that makes the farm in Cool Hand Luke look like Disneyland. Supposedly based on a true story about a place in Louisiana. Oldman is fantastic. He's so talented. It's a shame he wastes so much effort playing freaks -- True Romance, anyone?

(jp) wrote: Classic never dying action movie from the 80's as well as a must see during the Christmas period. It has entertaining story, very charismatic leads, both the good guy and the bad guy, superbly acted by Alan Rickman, and a christmas background, and a lot of first rate action scenes: a fiery cocktail.
(au) wrote: Great effects for its time. Clint Eastwood has an early studio role at the end of the movie (Jet Pilot).
(fr) wrote: Funny teen film, was enjoyable, not the biggest fan of Zac Efron but he played the role well!
(kr) wrote: A yuppie attorney Jeff Mills (Tim Daly) comes to the aid of the gorgeous and mysterious Miranda Reed (Kelly Preston) when he interferes in what appears to be a domestic dispute. Soon Miranda has moved into his house and taken an important position in his life. Then it turns out that Miranda is fleeing a cult of Satan worshipers who may be intending to sacrifice her. This film co-stats a number of genre veterans including Rick Rossovitch, Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa, Stefan Gierasch, and Audra Lindley. Granted, if you watch a lot of these films, you will see the shock ending coming a mile away, its still a lot of fun.
