Cheryl T (br) wrote: This movie has the most artistic and beautiful filmography I've ever seen. Each scene is so well done with camera angles, layering and different ideas, its amazing. The story is also amazing because it takes the truama that holocast survivors went through and what their lives are like now dealing with their past. Years later it still remains real daily in their lives. Its important to understand not only what happened but what survivors face right now, i never thought of it this way. Its a valuable movie to watch both for the emotional impact and the beautiful canadian scenery included.

Luilly M (kr) wrote: Although this movie plays with time and never makes sense of it, the film still delivers the message in an unforgettable fashion. If you're going into this movie looking for coherence, you'll most likely miss the train of wisdom and valuable life lessons.

Jayakrishnan R (us) wrote: 11%Saw this on 30/3/16Even Rob Zombie hates this film and there's no wonder why. Zombie has terrifically improved as a director in the follow up, The Devil's Rejects, but here, the entire narrative is unfocussed, poorly directed and shot. Sid Haig is the only good thing about this otherwise unbearable film, but Haig has only very small screen time. 1000 corpses is neither scary, pulpy nor is it funny.

Carol H (ru) wrote: There's not really a narrative to be found; just a series of events.

Sydney Amman (gb) wrote: Like the tagline says, one of the best. Wonderfully done, made even more touching by the fact that it's based on a true story. You don't see too many movies about the Balkan Wars. Dillane, Harrelson, and Tomei deserve major props.
