Brian O (jp) wrote: Last FW Murnau film--traditional tragic romance storyline but very beautifully shot. Well ahead of its time.

Jennifer S (nl) wrote: Probably the most raw film of 2012. It's deep. It hurts. But it is never afraid of itself. This film is open and it asks questions. Probably the most gripping and honest film I've seen regarding the emptiness of drug abuse, depression and suicide. It's tough to watch, but entirely worth it.

Miguel R (fr) wrote: It's got good and rapid chase scenes, but Premium Rush failed to vastly intrigue or to include an original idea

Thomas P (kr) wrote: This movie deserves far more praise than it has received. A cinematic portrayal of Eliade's novel, and work, is a fantastic experiment, and Coppola pulls it off in spades. Narrating a frustrated academic's search for the origin of language amid the turbulence of twentieth century Europe, through an almost magic-realism lens, provides such a unique cinematic experience. The wistful quality to his search, and love affair, is intoxicating, and Roth makes this character his own. For people interested in broad approaches to cinema, it's simply a must-watch.

Adam T (fr) wrote: despite what some people will claim, film is fairly unbiased in showing just how screwed up Utah is when it comes to politics.

Lucas N (es) wrote: Never before have I seen a movie attempt to take itself less seriously. Through some bizarre moments, you get a fun teen movie all under the guise of a hilarious parody.

Private U (jp) wrote: Saw this after watching The Heiress, an earlier film based on the novel Washington Square. I saw it after reading the novel Wastington Square. I loved this version mainly because of the great acting.

Ross M (mx) wrote: I'm a sucker for anthology films. Body Bags offers three different tales that each offer a unique scare. Horror fans will have fun spotting the various cameos scattered throughout the production, plus John Carpenter hams it up as the host of the anthology. While the movie itself is far from perfect, it's still fun and entertaining. 4 stars

Johnny I (jp) wrote: Shaft... IN AFRICA. sounds exciting on paper, but not that great on film. First of all, you're taking the coolest detective outta Harlem, into a setting where cool doesn't fit. Second, Shaft is not James Bond. I didn't watch this movie to see a black James Bond, I wanted to see a black private eye. This movie wasn't disturbingly terrible, but it was nowhere near okay. Movie score was pretty bitchin though

Glyn J (it) wrote: The snow covered sets are very impressive and Ray really submerges you into their world. But some of the attitudes are a little dated and I'm not sure what, if any, conclusions are being drawn. And it's a shame Peter O'Toole was dubbed. Incidentally, this film inspired Bob Dylan to write The Mighty Quinn.

Natalia f (es) wrote: This movie had romance and comedy but on two separate themes in the movie. The movie had an interesting was of combining the two themes. I personally found this movie hard to follow in some scenes. City lights is a movie that would be more enjoyable and entertaining if i watched it back in its time period.

Gareth D (us) wrote: A proper Friday night B-movie horror comedy, it doesn't nail it perfectly but it has a few good laughs and is a very easy (fairly short) watch.

Aftab Z (us) wrote: I always thought Luke Wilson was under-rated and this movie proves that. The movie was well written and entertaining.
