Matt G (nl) wrote: The prototype of a preposterous, C-level 80s comedy. Often very funny, and at its best when it's just the fantastic comedians playing off each other. However, it's also dated, clich, sexist and racist. Watch and laugh through the first half, then turn it off when the war/mission plot takes over.

Fucked me up as a kid, lmfao. I totally forgot about being scared until I rewatched it again a couple years ago. Yeah. Anyways, the main cast is great, memorable and it's a fun adventure all the way through. I think Alan Rickman and the "By Grabthar's hammer, by the suns of Warvan, you shall be avenged" quote sold it to me. Harmless, campy, stupid and refreshingly enjoyable fun. All you can really say.
