Deep S (de) wrote: I only gave this movie a chance to watch Ajay but it was a sheer disappointment. All I could think during the whole time, what made Ajay so desperate for such a C grade script and cheap comedy/dialogues. The movie wasn't about the classic original Himmatwala or the songs. But, rather it was all Sajid Khan - a "wanna be director or funny man" at which he fails miserably though not surprisingly.

Charles M (jp) wrote: The only thing that could make this sappy mess any worse would be Kevin Costner narrating it, which he actually does, in the last minute of the film, thereby delivering a merciful deathblow. Not "Battlefield Earth" awful, but still awful.

Niklas J (br) wrote: The biggest fail of this movie is that Van Damme is not in most of the movie. The movie resembles an attempt on riding on the success of the Karate Kid movie from 1984, but while the Karate Kid is a masterpiece, this is a B, possible a C, quality movie. The acting is horrible and the story lacks any depth and has a lot of gaps. The fighting itself is average. It's nice to see a martial art movie with a bit of speed in the fights, but besides that, and some nice Van Damme moves, there's not much to the fights. If your a big fan of martial art movies, this film will be an okay entertainment, if your not, then don't watch it.

Eric S (nl) wrote: Sad, boring drama, with a lifeless Al Pacino as an American Formula 1 racer driving the European circuit, who's doubts of life affect his decisions on and off the track. Along the way, he falls for a free-spirited woman (Marthe Keller), who's ailing from that popular movie disease no one knows about. Dull from beginning to end, with stiff characters. Pacino and director Sydney Pollack should leave this one off their resumes.
Sam M (br) wrote: Good plot, not a repeat of the original so it's got its own thing which also is fresh.
