However, this is the beauty of these films as they are meant to be told in a way that you can feel the characters love as well as their pain.Surprising but stellar cast.

It all started with Scorsese's After Hours in the eighties, but then they got meaner and darker always upping the ante. The trick with these kind of movies is that they need to push the boundaries of good taste without stepping over the line while simultaneously piling on radical plot twists that fit into the internal logic of the script. Following the death of his father, Astin, forced to take care of his hungry family, trains vigorously for a dangerous dog sledding race and plans to use his winnings to buy his family a better life. Quite bad Disney fable with absolutely no surprises; plunders immediately after we're sure they'll let the kid race. Only Spacey, as a selfish newspaper man, rises above a count-the-clichs screenplay. One of the weakest Disney productions ever made. Those dogs sure are cute, however.

Recently transferred from a foster home, Francois, is trying to get accustomed to his new home and seem to destroy every chances he gets at happiness. The Thierry's his new 'parents' are an old adorable and patient couple who try their best to help him and nurture him but Francois is not an easy child and his feeling of abandon makes destroys him from the inside. It's a raw film but a beautiful piece of cinema that remain a classic for any film aficionado.

I will watch this movie any time i run across it and enjoy it immensley every time. ANd all the kids that I have shown this too enjoy it just as much as I did as a child and still do as an adult.
