VeggieTales: Gideon Tuba Warrior torrent reviews

Brandon S (jp) wrote: I really don't understand the critical response to this film. There are some elements that feel convoluted, but the movie still has incredible action that is visually astounding.Easily my favorite aspect of the film is that we aren't oversaturated by the action. When it does occur it's amazing, but it doesn't occur often, which really helped the film in the long run. I also really liked how coherent it was. I liked the Man From Nowhere, but the action was less jarring to me this time around.Another thing I enjoyed was Dong-gun Jang. We aren't told a lot about his character, but that's fine because the layers of the character are in Jang's performance, and in what isn't said. Jang is an actor, like many other great action stars, that tells a lot with his eyes.Overall, the action is jaw-dropping, the direction is very strong, the performances are even stronger, and the pace is consistent. I can honestly say that this is a great action movie.

Lee M (fr) wrote: Zonad is a delightfully silly movie, sweetly ribald and funny. But it exemplifies a typical problem of the parody movie; it's all gags with no interest in plot, so by the time it gets to the point where there should be a climax and resolution, it looks pretty silly trying to create one.

Rick R (gb) wrote: Curse of the Golden Flower (2006)Wow! This movie puts the "E" in epic. Everything is big in this movie; the castle grounds of the Forbidden City, the opulent costumes and furnishings, the well-endowed ladies-in-waiting and the millions of soldiers (maybe a little too many in this category). The story itself could have been a Greek tragedy or a Shakespearian drama, filled with incest, betrayal, and secrets that cannot be reveled. Chow Yun-Fat as the Emperor Ping is wonderful, and you can't keep your eyes off of the lovely, but tortured Empress Phoenix (Li Gong).

Aephraim S (nl) wrote: Occasionally entertaining, once it occurred to us to watch it at 2x normal speed. Two or 2.5 stars... leaving 1 after adjusting for what it must feel like to watch it for twice as long... but we do recommend the musical sequences (especially the video for the mountain song), in doubletime.

Nyk P (ru) wrote: Great documentary following the evolution of Surfing when looking for the biggest wave. Has one of the best opening scenes of any movie, including a few action films. Although it blows the money shot right away the rest of the film takes us on a journey around the world, introduces us to some of the heroes of Surfing and then takes us up to the story behind the opening scene. 8/10

Dan M (au) wrote: Completely forgettable. Not a bad movie by any means, but I'd never watch it again. I'd have much rather watched a Dragonfly movie.

Patrick L (us) wrote: This movie is a classic.

Harry W (nl) wrote: I never really enjoy Shakespeare because his stories are less impressive than they were 300 years ago, but this clever modern day adaptation with great theme exploration and excellent leads from River Phoenix and Keanu Reeves was surprisingly entertaining and one of Phoenix's best mature performances in his tragically short life.

Noname (kr) wrote: One of Martin Scorsese's earlier movies and you feel it when u watch it but still its very solid despite that throughout the whole movie. Its a mafia crime story taken place in NY of course with a young De Niro and Harvey Keitel in nice performances as we are used to see from both of them. Im a huge of Martin Scorsese's flicks so it was fun grabbing this one aswell.
