Sean M (de) wrote: While realistic, surprising, and possessing brief moments of brilliance- an inadequate conclusion and problematic pacing keep this Bean-movie from his hall of glory.

Susan M (au) wrote: Aimless, without a plot, not even one in a graveyard.

Douglas M (nl) wrote: It's ultra low-budget, but, the money they spent was on special effects!!... Nice work. The actors & actresses are all no-namers, but they do fine. It's got the blood, guts and T&A covered!!!... Great Friday night rental, after the kiddies are tucked away. I streamed it for FREE on CRACKLE on my RoKu!... NICE!! :)

Private U (it) wrote: What a gorgeous film. It's set in a Maasai community in what appears to be designed to be precolonial times. It reminded me strongly of Atanarjuaat and Ten Canoes - members of a nomadic community on a quest. Of course, a person like me would be fascinated by the music. I've never heard Maasai music before, but it reminded me of Ba'aka (pygmy) music. The colours were beautiful, the scenery, the lion, the grass... Just breathtaking. And a fabulous cast of Maasai - only Maasai, in Maasai language too. Worth seeing!

Ben R (ag) wrote: Billy Whitney is a typical rich beverly hills 80s teen who starts noticing creepy unusual things happening in his neighborhood. When his super elite and snooty family start acting extremely bizarre,Bill starts uncovering the secrets of the elite group known as "The Society".This is a superbly creepy metaphor for the elite society compared to the lower class of the real world. I found that the director was trying to beat that message over your head towards the very end of this creepfest. I love horror/suspense movies where the main character doesn't know who to trust or what to believe and this plays that main note just perfectly till the very end. It almost runs the risk of turning into total 80s cheese horror then gets saved somewhere towards the middle, then the later half is where all the creepy just weird stuff happens. A perfect midnight movie to watch by yourself or with a group of friends on a Friday night for some creepy thrills. If you find the movie boring at all during the first half, I strongly suggest you stick around till the very end for some of the most bizarre stuff ever shot on film during the 80s.

Jason R (kr) wrote: Hotter than Hot!!! Lemmon is marvelous as the womanizing bass player, and tony curtis plays a fine role himself. I found myself laughing at things that weren't funny to others, but funny to me. Marilyn Monroe is just so excellent at being a total ditz, and reallly scores her umbers (musically and in other ways...wut a perv). It's the original "white chicks", but God forbid any1 to actually call that a remake of this@ Some Like it Hot is the perfect cat and mouse movie! It's the perfect musical! And the absolute best comedy!!!

Stewart (it) wrote: This film has 79% even through the plot is cluttered and messed up and the songs are bloody awful. Just because you have lots of pointless cameos does not make your movie good, they should have spent the budget removing the green outlines from the characters at the end of the film.
