Random MTV hot-spots and random songs add to the unpredictable....a highly enjoyable and engrossing film with shades of the French classic 'Amelie' but much darker. Deserves a repeat viewing just to take everything in.

Patrick L (ag) wrote: I've watched it and the film is pretty good but I feel sorry for Jayne Mansfield as she plays a bimbo character. The older characters are all basically "bumpkins" or evil and the dancing scenes are rather voyeuristic if not sexist. A decent film at best and one dvd I had no regrets about promptly selling to a "buy-sell" store. It's considered a campy comedy and that is the best description of it whether you consider it funny or not. Belongs close to the "Porky's" section of the store...

Ryan A (de) wrote: What I got to say about "Vampires Suck" is that it's one of the worst movie I have ever seen. "It's incredibly stupid, really dull, stressful and not funny at all." The performances by the whole cast is horrendous. The directing and screenplay by Jason Friedberg and Aaron Seltzer is terrible to the low degree. The cinematography is not the best. Finally, the score doesn't work at all. "I have to report that "Vampires Suck" is garbage that is full of hatred and contempt. It's not a good movie at all... I hate it!"
