satavisa s (kr) wrote: Great script, suspenseful, funny. Great acting by Jon Cryer and Will Sasso. Why do these low key movies with good stories and acting get overlooked by critics and audience alike??

Daniel M (mx) wrote: This movie moved so slow I fast forwarded to the end wondering if anything ever actually happens... A guy hung himself from the rafters in a barn. I suddenly realized I was standing in a chair with a thick rope in my hands... fast forward saved my life ( at least an hour or so of it )

Paul D (br) wrote: Stylish adaptation of a stage play, although somewhat offbeat in its appearance for the cinema. It's witty in places, farcical in its plot, but different.

Cliff B (mx) wrote: I had never heard of this movie before Netflix recommended it. It seemed like it would be an interesting murder mystery, but it's way more than that. I highly recommend it. I think young women will probably like it more than us guys, but I still thought it was great.

JaakkoJuhana T (jp) wrote: Sad little tinmen with their sad little feuds and ever rattling costumes. The 2nd best King Arthur -flick, still fresh and harrowing (Camelot is a silly place alright and all the knights are quite funny in their silliness). Every shot & sound has its place. A masterpiece in minimalism for sure.

Brad G (mx) wrote: Sherlock Holmes is still stuck in WWII fighting Nazis...well, he's fighting Moriarty here who is working for the Nazis. Lionel Atwill, who was so bloody fantastic as the good doctor Mortimer in The Hound of the Baskervilles, is Moriarty this time out and, surprisingly, he's not as good as The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes' Moriarty, George Zucco. Atwill is just a tad obvious here. And the plot to rescue a Swiss inventor is just not as engaging as the previous Rathbone outings. Decent, but after this one, I'd like to see Holmes get outta WWII quick. VF.

Caleb C (mx) wrote: This could have easily been a oscar bait project, but it does fall flat in some scenes and could have been one of the top films of the year if a better writing/directing team had been aboard. This story however, is something that I think is definitely worth a look and not just for Benicio Del Toro but Josh Hutcherson above all who gives the best performance, I've seen in his career so far. The story does feel like it was ripped from history in some ways even though some scenes did feel a bit unrealistic and over the top. That being said, what all is here was entirely gripping to watch and very intense. For fans of Dramatic thrillers with splashes of romance, this is a must-see.
