Jaye G (it) wrote: There are some movies you've heard about and have always thought would be interesting to watch, though you were never in any rush to see it. Raging Bull, American History X, Under the Volcano. Well this rainy sunday afternoon I watched Under the Volcano and I must say. I'm glad I didn't rush to find it years ago. A character study of an alcholic's last days, it's not the feel good film of any year. Albert Finney is amazing but once the movie is over you just want to rinse with Listerine and take a shower. John Huston can always be counted on for directing at least an interesting film if not a fully satisfying one. Not recommended.
