Shirley Y (es) wrote: This was such a disappoint compared from the first one. The worst thing is that I can't believe Tsui Hark can ever direct something so C-movie like with hideous acting skills. Sort of come away from the original one too much and lacks the serious element to it. Basically, it was a joke.

Shaun B (jp) wrote: Campy fun B-movie horror flick that has Vincent Price reprising his role from the earlier and much superior film, THE ABOMINABLE DR. PHIBES. Here we have broad swashes of silly banter that actually works very well at times and the deaths are inventive and interesting but not as well thought out as in the first movie. In the end it's a minor cult classic that's a worthy watch if you especially enjoy 1970s Vincent Price or shit like watching a man "talk" through an amp hooked up to a tuba. Whatever floats your boat.

Dusty L (mx) wrote: This film focuses alot on the good of Bronies, which I appreciate. But its also not fair. The film doesn't really focus on the bad of Bronies either, which is there. Also, I wish we got to know some of the crew members of the show a little more as well as some of the actual Bronies. If you want to know more about the Brony culture, this is a great place to start. But if you are Brony, there isn't really a reason to watch it. Four stars. 78% on my Tomatometer.
