Timo V (kr) wrote: Not as close as interesting and well-constructed as the first one, and far from being as relevant, too, but still an intriguing look into Trekking, and how it just keeps on thriving. I'd be happy to watch a monthly TV-series out of the lives of Trekkies all around the world.

Reno V (fr) wrote: "YOU KNOW THE STORIES. YOU MIGHT NOT BELIEVE THEM TO BE DEADLY" - Everybody has heard at least one of them. Urban legends. A often twisted story told by someone who heard it from someone who knows someone to whom it happened. These macabre tales are the source of inspiration for the 1998 slasher film 'Urban Legend'. It was the first, and to my opinion the best, of three installments. The film was okay, I like the cheesy references used with the music. Starring Jared Leto (Requiem for a Dream), Alicia Witt (Vanilla Sky), Rebecca Gayheart (Scream 2), Joshua Jackson (Dawson's Creek), Tara Reid (American Pie), Danielle Harris (Halloween franchise), Brad Dourif (Child's Play) and horror icon Robert Englund (a Nightmare on Elm Street). What you don't believe, can kill you. After learning about 'urban legends' in the lessons by professor William Wexler (Englund), Natalie Simon (Witt) reads about a terrible murder in the school paper. The girl was decapitated by an axe killer who was hiding on the backseat of her car. Natalie knew the girl, but hides it for her friends. To take her mind of things, she agrees to join Damon Brooks (Jackson) on a date. They arrive at a desolated place, where Damon hopes to make out. Turned down by Natalie, Damon steps out of the car to take a piss. When Natalie hears noises on the roof, she doesn't know the killer has attacked the boy and hung him by a tree with the rope attached to the car. When the hooded psychopath startles the girl, she drives off and unknowingly strangles Damon. Now knowing that there is a murderer at work who uses Urban Legends to kill people around her, Natalie will have to keep an eye on those close to her. Who will be next? Her best friend Brenda (Gayheart), the charming newspaper writer Paul (Leto), her goth roommate Tosh (Harris), the popular radio host Sasha (Reid) or one of the faculty members?
