(nl) wrote: Well, this is a gruesome film. Painful to watch and a true horror film in many ways. It's very sad, one of the most provoking ones that I have seen and probably more true than I fear.A woman in her late fifties or so travels to Kenya where she meets young males - that's the plot without giving away much. I can give away that we get nudity. A lot of it. The kind that makes an impression on you - and not impressions of the good kind to put it that way. It's captured in a great way, several great images that can work out as lovely stills. Seidl's earlier film "Import/Export" is one of my favorites. It reminds me of that film in many ways, but this one is not as good. This film made me feel unpleasant, something that should be in the favor of the film, meaning it's making a huge impression. I had to leave the film for a while and let it stay as a healed wound. Directly after the credits, it's felt like a ripped open wound. Now, a month later, it's settled as a great film and something that won't be forgotten for a long time.7.5 out of 10 retards in bumper cars.
