Sophia W (ag) wrote: Seve the Movie is a great sports film for the family to enjoy! This true and exciting biopic tells the story of a young boy from the countryside of Spain who managed to become one of the best golfers of all time. This beautifully written and directed film has something to offer to anyone and everyone. If you?re looking for inspiration, learn about this ?rags to riches? story as Seve Ballesteros works his way from nothing to becoming revered as a golf legend. If you?re looking for action, watch as the director weaves in real footage from several of Seve?s matches throughout the film. Even enjoy a few laughs from the funny wise-cracks of Seve and his brother?s. Not enough? See cameo?s and hear commentary from other great golfers like Tiger Woods and Jose Olazabal. It?s a must-see film that you?re guaranteed to enjoy.

Jules H (ru) wrote: Open Season has plenty of heart warming moments and brisk, healthy animation. The film, however, does nothing to set it apart from the other Looney Tunes-esque works it blatently rips off resulting in wild unoriginality and pre mature, but funny, gags. All in all, it can still be a good film if those specific flaws can be ignored, which is not always an easy task.

This did a decent job with it's documentary/reality TV feel, though they didn't really clarify why someone who won the previous series has to continue playing in the next. It seems an endless cycle of "keep killing until you're killed".There isn't too much to say about this movie. You either get it and accept it or don't and you're level of understanding the "joke" will determine your enjoyment of the movie. Though I will say if you had a choice go with Battle Royale. It seems like it's only a matter of time for reality TV to actually jump this far, doesn't it?

Chris G (us) wrote: The two leads are mind-numbingly dull, but man, every secondary character is a riot. Dana Olsen as Palmer Woodrow is the quintessential slovenly prep. I could quote this move all day, but it won't make sense until you see the movie. "Hey, Boris, bite a few necks for me tonight, hey buddy."

Michael S (ca) wrote: For a high concept action thriller for this to be effective, it needs (1) impressive visuals, (2) some crazy/cool futuristic touches, and (3) some smart social commentary. "Gamer" has none of these. At the end, villain Michael C. Hall lip syncs Sammy Davis Jr.'s "I've Got You Under My Skin." I wish the rest of the film had that level of campiness. It's just awful.
