Liliam H (gb) wrote: This is some pedophile apologism peice of shit. It says pedophilia is not a moral issue, and tries to use science to back up its arguments, but all the scientific imformation is widely skewed and biased. It makes weird leaps in logic based on the tiniest "evidence", and basically tries to excuse pedophilia because of "well in the stone age we did it, hurr hurr, so it's totally normal." It even brings in a woman talk about her experience of dating an older man when she was a child, and makes it seem like a positive thing, yet for some reason they don't think it would be important to bring in someone who was traumatized by their experiences. It's so disgusting, completely illegitamate journalism, and not worth anyone's time. I felt like throwing up after I watched this. Disgusting.

I thought it was amazing, with all that work they did for 2 years after the movie's completion. Ray Harryhausen really did a great job, with so many cool creature designs. I find this one a tad better than Jason and the Argonauts, in terms of special effects. The pacing is a bit off for the first half, with not much being done. The second half delivers, and you must marvel at that wonderful cast.

Alexander N (ag) wrote: It's kind of awesome. Dolph Lundgren is an Iraq veteran with PTSD who gets transported into a fantasy world with knights and magic and crap, and all he wants to do is sneak around the woods with his survival knife. It does not bear comparison with the original, which appeared to have a budget. Canadian douchebag Lochlyn Munro looked totally ridiculous in his Halloween costume king outfit, which gives the movie bonus points. Oh the plot: the King is an evil alchemist who has developed a plague which will destroy all of humanity after he transports himself to our world to unleash it. Only Lundgren can stop him by beating him to death in his kitchen.
