Jason D (es) wrote: Behold the hilarity that is Yeti, another entry in the awful to moderately decent series of killer animal/nature run-amok films. Yeti is basically the dumbed-down, low budget, comedic version of Alive, a film that involves several football (soccer football) players crash-landing in a plane in the Himalayas where most die and those who are left sit there and wither away for days before finally succumbing to eating their dead. The synopsis I just shared with you is an EXACT carbon copy of what Yeti's plot deals with, only a giant Yeti (sometimes man in hilarious suit/sometimes full blown cartoon) comes around and takes a dead body hear and there. The deaths are few and far between (save for closer to the end), but surprisingly, they are quite gory and fun. There are no big name actors in this, but surprisingly, they aren't that bad. The biggest name would have to be Crystal Lowe (Black Xmas) who, surprisingly, doesn't get naked, which is a damn shame, because she looks good. Not a bad film per se, but often times hilarious in terms of effects and people doing stupid shit, but we're all used to that already. The very end of the film features a hilarious scene involving the punching bag of the film, the poor second-string quarterback. Hilarious, silly, dumb sometimes, but not too terribly bad.
