David L (kr) wrote: It is a special kind of bad. We start the story with 4 clich army types, 2 grownass man who act like 13 year olds, a tough man who does everything for his "daughter' and a chinise girl who never says anything. The story doesn't really matter. Nothing dramatic happens, and when the first dude dies, the film goes to cheap zombie action. And I can tell you: The action is bad. It's never really clear why they are using walls and doors to kill zombies while all their guns are completely full. And just when you start wondering why there are so few women in the movie the first one is found. No character and no character development. One time the movie makes you meet 2 likable people, but kills one off right away. This won't make you feel sad, it will make you feel angry at the creator for not getting them more time. The movie is cheap, clich and worse than normal at every spot.

Michael H (jp) wrote: Strange left field genre film that manages to thrill and confuse in equal measure. Finally a movie featuring Hi-Fi too. I almost wept with joy...

Bruce B (kr) wrote: I have seen a lot of movies in the past 5 years but none compare with this. You talk about a complete waste of film, When it comes to B movies this one doesn't even fall into that category. I was amazed to learn that Huntz Hall (East Side Kids) Played in this one. Something you broadcast on the late night channel between 3 and 4 am. A Waste 1 1/2 stars

The supernatural stuff was vastly overdone: if it had stuck to being a mystery-drama it would have been much more believable and interesting.Decent performances from Halle Berry and Robert Downey Jr. Penelope Cruz was wasted in such a minor role though.
