Rod S (ag) wrote: English movie making at its best. Julie Walters plays a magnificent part as the madame of a suburban brothel catering to the kinks of older men. The story was inspired by the real life story of Cynthia Payne - in fact she acted as Executive Producer. Nitty gritty life with tongue in cheek - very saucy. Stunning part played by Julie Walters - she never fails to please. I have seen the movie before but thought it was time it was written up and brought to the attention of those that have never viewed it before - especially my friends overseas who might only have access to Hollywood productions and not the social dramas of the English film makers.

Spookie M (es) wrote: Predictable and formulaic but also quite funny 80s comedy. Fred ward is hilarious

Richard G (br) wrote: Not as good as the first film but still fun andf its as camp as a row of tents, the Traps are still quite inventive and Vincent Price steals every scene he's in,whats good is it does'nt try to repeat the first film and it goes in a different directio and plot, added bonus is a brief appearance from Peter Cushing, good film.

Chris C (ca) wrote: Jean Reno versus Gary Oldman with the safety of Natalie Portman hanging in the balance.....and Oldman is the psychotic villain in this one so you know it's damn good.
