Sarfara A (br) wrote: Kinsey biographical film about Alfred Kinsey a biologist and expert on Sexual Behavior, and pioneer of the Sexology - Kinsey was written and directed by Bill Condon. Film received Best Supporting Actress nomination at Academy Award for Laura Linney (playing Clara Kinsey wife of Alfred Kinsey - an only few of Laura's roles where I simply liked her positive role). Starring, Liam Neeson as Alfred Kinsey, Lauran Linney, Chris O'Donnell, Peter Sarsgaard, Timothy Hutton, John Lithgow, Tim Curry, Oliver Platt, William Sadler. Kinsey, sheds light on Alfred Kinsey 1894-1956 an American biologist and zoologist, a devotee to nature, vigorously pursuing his dream to write books and collect data and scale on sexua tendency among people from all walks of life. He is soft but when it comes to explaining his ideas and research, he sometiems get aggressive but immediately realizes his mistakes. His father Alfred Siguine (John Lithgow) is not interested in him, frequently criticizing his decisions. Clara (Laura) falls in love with him being his biology student, and they soon marry. Chris O'Donnell plays the Wardell a student of Kinsey and helper during interviews with subjects - Peter Sarsgaard plays Clyde Martin a young family friend and secretary of Kinsey during much of his life. Timothy Hutton plays Paul a colleague of Kinsey at institute - Oliver Platt plays Herman Wells, head of the Indiana University, looking over and shadowing Kinsey's sometime controversial ideas. It hardly leaves blanks talk about its failure to lift anxiety of viewers with so commonly chased aspects of private life - film's strong opening with interview of Liam Neeson by his student and colleagues like Timothy Hutton, Chris O'Donnell, and Peter Sarsgaard leave you waiting for the next chapter in the movie - movie offers strong performance from Laura Linney, Peter Sarsgaard and John Lithgow (though in brief role). The movie contain good humorous dialogues and situations as well, with Timothy Hutton, Oliver Platt and Tim Curry (anti-Kinsey)
