Chris C (mx) wrote: You know everyone, hates on Crow:City of Angels, well at least that felt like a proper Crow sequel, at least it looked like the people who made it cared. At least it 15 minutes shorter. Furlong, looks sad in his stupid mime makeup, trying to get revenge against David Bordeanz(come on you did Angel and Bones, pick better projects) and Tara Reid (your hopless sister, between this and next years Alone in the dark you are doomed). And apparently, their a bunch of supernatural bad guys wanting to become the four horsemen of the apocalypse. A lot of which involves killing random people in the name of satan, blah, blah, blah. I'm sorry I didn't pay attention to the plot that much. Dennis Hopper is in it, which is both sad and hilarious that you get Hopper to spout out dumbass lines for a quick buck and talk ghetto style. And of course Danny Trejo as a dancing Indian, if you can believe that. I mean Furlong looks dumb in the role, he's so far from not having any presence as Brandon Lee that he doesn't even hit Vincent Perez's level of presence. Eric Mabius in the last one was a better lead, and that was a cheap sequel with really nothing that I remember about it, besides that Fred Ward was the bad guy and Kirsten Dunst had a early role in it, that I'm sure she would want to forget. But this, this is memborable in the opposite, it's horrible, I just remember how bad and awful it is. I guess that makes Salvation worst, because I can hardly remember anything about it.

Neal J (de) wrote: Not the worst movie ever made, but certainly a runner up ,if not, top five for sure. Maybe it's the go-for-broke MTV injected production value, or maybe it's just the really, really bad acting attacking my senses throughout the picture. Obliviously you want to judge for yourself, but you've been warned.

Reece L (us) wrote: Like all of Kar-Wai's films, "Chungking Express" is involves several chance-happenings and strained relationships, but the mastery he displays in this effort is arguably more accomplished than any of his other work. I can't take issue with any aspect of the production; it's gorgeously shot, beautifully romantic, and overwhelmingly moving. Rarely does a director make more than one masterpiece, but with this film and the excellent "In the Mood for Love", Kar-Wai has done just that.

Don M (jp) wrote: The crazy thing about this movie is that the alligator NEVER looks like it's oversized. So you have all these people freaked out over a giant alligator, but it just looks normal for the most part. It was pretty funny though, the whole idea of how badass this one cop is. Not even close to the sincerity of the original though. Didn't need to be a sequal.

When Belial's hand is seen attacking his victims, it is really a glove worn by Henenlotter. The full size Belial puppet is also seen in the scenes where Belial is seen with an actor or where his eyes glow red.

Russell S (de) wrote: From its unfathomable and dull opening crawl to it's boring politics, unremarkable characters and ropey dialogue, this is a hard sell for a Star Wars movie. When you simply don't care who lives or dies, you know something is wrong.Added to this, the overuse of CGI doesn't help and I have no idea why George Lucas seems to want the screen so busy all the time.Good points. The woefully underused Darth Maul and the pod race.
