Ryan V (br) wrote: This acclaimed short film, which established the reputation of director Nick Park, is a stop-motion animated faux documentary about animals at the zoo. Park essentially takes the recorded gripes of various English people and places them in the context of zoo animals discussing their living conditions. It's an interesting premise and the film pulls it off using dry, precocious wit. Anyone who digs Wallace & Gromit, Chicken Run, or The Pirates: Band of Misfits would be fond of this Oscar-winning feature.

Eric H (au) wrote: Legendary horror director Wes Craven is well known for creating films like The Hills Have Eyes, A Nightmare on Elm Street, Scream etc. In 1982 Wes Craven wrote and directed the live action movie adaptation to DC comics hero Swamp Thing, the film is a low budget B-movie that surely is great fun to watch. One funny thing is that Swamp Thing is supposed to have comical elements to it but the film takes it self too seriously and the comedy elements seem so small compared to it's sequel Return of the Swamp Thing. The Swamp Thing costume is pretty cool and looks effective, the acting is fine. Swamp Thing is a fun comic book adaptation that's should be seen. Check this out. 1
Sean K (br) wrote: Stone is an odd film in a few ways than one, but still, it's a well acted movie at its moments (although Norton's gangster character seems laughable at times) and it has a good pacing to help keep the viewer interested when the movie loses it's pacing. The film starts out with a shocking scene in which a younger version of Deniro's character is shown threatening to throw his own child out the window if his wife leaves him. She says she will always stay after saying she wanted out of this shell of a life only moments before. The movie then jumps a few twenty or so years into the future and goes on with deniro dueling with a Edward norton who is a convicted arsonist trying to find redemption. Some scenes between the two are great and others are just flat out boring. We find Norton's wife trying to convince Deniro to give her husband a chance, but her motives are unclear as with the whole movies message. Many of the characters motives come across unclear and in the end, the movie ends with a few questions unaswered. The film is an interesting one and will surely keep you entertained and puzzled throughout. The movie shows just how hard it is to straighten your life but it does so without any bravura, and instead we get a well acted thriller (at times) with a confusing message that will leave the viewer wanting a little more than what was given...
