Wade H (ag) wrote: Even with cheesy effects and fast-cut pacing. The film pulls off its generic cliche approach with ease. Filled with oddball humor and repetitive puns, it's just easy to sit back and enjoy some stupid fun.

Stephen D (ca) wrote: No.This is the movie, guy terrorizes three morons in a small glass room. Why, and who is he - spoiler alert - you never find out, and by the end of the movie, you don't give a shit. If you like films with no resolution or explanations at the end, this this film has got to top your list.

Lee M (au) wrote: Every kitchen-sink dramatic cliche is trotted out in John Gray's Brooklyn period piece.

James O (gb) wrote: Good leading performance with many of the familiar MLK tics caught quite well. No one can quite replicate the power of his actual speeches but this is a very reasonable attempt to portray him on film. The political background to his fight for voting rights and the Selma march are interesting but simplistic. Decent but you feel one day there'll be another MLK film that will trump this one.

David S (kr) wrote: For every intriguing moment about losing a parent or discovering one's parents as individuals or the true strife of a marriage, there's a sub-Carrie Bradshaw comment from the director that displays either a seeming lack of historical cultural knowledge or a shallowness in feeling or expression.

Charles S (mx) wrote: Bof! The film could not figure out what it wanted to be, a statement about the class system of the grandes ecoles, or a psycho-sexual drama about identity conflict -- or both! I wonder if the play was more focused. Some really tedious parts.

Yuri B (mx) wrote: One of Eddie's most classic films... easily one of best action comedies of the 80's.

Jeans P (it) wrote: A deep and intimate portrait, perhaps too intimate for some, I don't think there will ever be a more unsettling and touching use of Dinah Washington's "This Bitter Earth"

Jamie P (br) wrote: Okay, so I guess everyone had high expectations when they started watching this. I didn't on the other hand and I ended up loving it. It was a goofy movie about girls trying to make the best of the craziness that was going on and I think they did a great job. I laughed all through the movie.
