Jonathan J (ru) wrote: Hilarious! This is bar far the best movie I've ever seen. The Director is a freaking genius. (full disclosure, I wrote and directed this movie, but I think I've really managed to put that personal bias aside when reviewing what is undoubtedly a masterpiece of human creation. Can't believe the Academy overlooked this for Best Picture) But hey, our IMDB rating is 8.4 and that's from dozens of real people... only one of those is me!

Hannah D (mx) wrote: This a splendid short documentary film about one of my favourite places Liverpool. The music and poetry work perfectly and it is quite haunting at times. I only wish it could have been a bit longer. I want to see more films like this.

Millo T (us) wrote: Another Billy Wilder movie with Jack Lemmon as a poor man, and Matthau as one of the most terrible (in the same of selfish) and funny villains you have ever seen in cinema. The romance parts are not very good, but, OK, you can overcome that. Also, very good pearls about guilty and how to take circumstances, all with Wilder's characteristic acid and sometimes dark sense of humour.

Beth K (us) wrote: Fun little movie, but I would've really enjoyed it more had the Sheriff been more Warden from Cool Hand Luke and less Yosemite Sam.

Paul D (mx) wrote: Excellent cop thriller, with realistic and deeply humane profiles of the characters, a great story, no superficial special effects or unbelievable moments, a nice balance and pace, with William Hurt and Joanna Pacula doing great work.

Yash B (ru) wrote: It's a movie that has a conflicted tone but ultimately is a good amount of fun. For the most part, it is pretty cheesy but sometimes it decides to be more dramatic. I do think it is less predictable than the second one but overall you can still somewhat figure out how the movie is going to play out. I enjoy it for what it is and it isn't as good as the original for sure. It'still a fun movie with a silly but enjoyable Mr. T. performance and a fun use of the song "Eye of the Tiger."

James C (ag) wrote: great movie for the genre. entertaining and engaging.

Michael R (gb) wrote: Sure, the acting wasn't award winning but still much better than expected, and the characters are kind of quirky, especially the medium and the guy who gets clobbered in begining. All around kind of creepy....not bad.
