(es) wrote: This is a beautifully animated, sincerely written and genuinely funny family film. It wears it's big heart on it's sleeve and never apologizes for it. Given the sweet nature of the film, it's amazing to me that so many people have so much venom towards it. Is it's quality befitting of a Disney animated film? Absolutely! The classic Disney elements are in place, but they are serving a completely unique coming of age story that is genuinely unlike anything I've seen from the studio before. The characters are memorable, the message is timeless and the performances are top notch.

(gb) wrote: A really good adaptation of Dame Agatha Christie's original novel. The film does have a few minor changes in the naming of a few of the characters but that does not detract very much from those who are familiar with the original novel. Those who are familiar with the original novel and are fans like myself will find the ending happier than the original novel which really detracts from the ending for me, however up until the last ten minutes it follows the book rather closely not considering the minor changes in the names of a few of the characters.

(ru) wrote: One of the best classic Sci-fi films of all time. Top notch writing, acting, special effects and overall creativity breath life into this space-age fantasy. The martian landscape is unique and perfect for the film. Mona the monkey is a lovable and very unlikely supporting character. This film is visually pleasing and wildly different than most last man standing films. A truly creative adventure that was lightyears ahead of it's time.
