Victoria N (ag) wrote: I like it, completly crazy and as far out there as it could be.. well.. almost. The beginning was painfully slow but once the psychopaths crached the party I was hitched.. I still am.. almost so I have to see it once more. This is a great mixture of action, psychopaths, office nerds and spooky houses. Enjoy!

Matthew H (ag) wrote: Oklahoma might've been good in 1955, but it has aged badly. What used to be waving wheat is now dead remains of what it used to be.

Zack B (de) wrote: I can't imagine how immersively ethereal this film would've been had Kieslowski lived to make it, but it does not fail in Tom Tykwer's creative hands. The film, like most of Kieslowski's, is silent and meditative. The dialogue, though simple and concise is made poetic by the restraint of the two leading actors, both among my favorite actors ever: Cate Blanchett and Giovanni Ribisi. The two possess a quiet chemistry that seems to defy the implausibility of the actual story, and it is with this strength that the movie travels beyond mere pragmatism and reaches heights of stubborn romanticism. This quality is much beloved in Kieslowski stories and, when seen through another director's eyes, one can easily see the impact Kieslowski's cinema has held.

John H (ca) wrote: The acting isn't always so great but it is a great story. It is a testamony to the power of money and greed. What would you do to get 20 million dollars from a lothesome uncle?

Billy S (ru) wrote: All in all I felt like I learned nothing new about Marlon Brando. Sort of felt misled by this film, I was expecting it to be more about Brando and his troubles in life, it turned out to be just him talking about random things throughout. Not great.
