While Donnie Yen once again delivers some great action scenes, the movie story prevents is from being great. Flash Point is about an agent battling against three brothers of a powerful Vietnamese gang. Alright the story for the movie is poorly done. It lacks depth, character development, and pacing as most of the action is in the last thirty minutes and everything in between is a largely forgettable story. Of course story wasn't the main focus of the movie, it main focus was in the action. As for the violence allot of effort when into them and they're pretty awesome. This movie has one of the best climax for a Martial Art movie, unfortunately you have to endure the lack of a good story. I won't deny that both Wilson Yip and Donnie Yen make a good team when it comes to violence, drama on the other hand is a big miss here. Donnie Yen proves he's bad ass, but also proves he's not able to act when he's not punching. Wilson Yip has an eye for action, but he doesn't put in the same effort for telling a story. Flash Point is a Martial Art movie with great violence, but lacks depth in a story to make it great. If you're looking for a great Martial Art violence watch this, but skip to the violence as it's the only part worth watching.

The cast is pretty bad, and I'm not even sure why Rosie O'Donnell is in this, she can't even act, and she's not funny whatsoever. Another Stakeout fails in terms of a buddy cop comedy, and the chemistry between the three actors simply doesn't work this is a sloppily made film that doesn't do anything to entertain you. I like to watch something fun, but this film was more annoying. I felt the filmmakers failed to make a good film, and it just didn't have anything special about it. There's not one cast member that was good here, and they were just bland on-screen. This is a mediocre film, one that is not worth your time, and it could have been much better. As it stands, this is a flawed film that doesn't possess any funny parts. The film's cast bring it down, and as a whole it is a forgettable film that really isn't entertain. This film feels rushed, and it seems like the director really didn't care about the end result of his film. I think with a better cast, a better script and better director, this film might have been better than what it turned out to be. This film could have been much better, and it's a shame it wasn't. Mediocre to say the least, Another Stakeout is not really worth watching.

Adrian B (kr) wrote: There was something about this that kind of appealed. A guy puts an advert in a local paper about wanting to find someone to go back in time with him. Obviously this is bogus right so a local journalist team decides to interview him and the more they unravel he could be telling the truth that he really has built a time machine
