Brian C (de) wrote: Here comes the Devil is unnerving. Imagine if you were in the situation where your kids went missing overnight and came back changed. The kids become dark, withdrawn and very sinister. Strange things begin to happen that has no logical explanation.I really enjoyed this movie. The acting of the parents was top notch and you feel their breaking down as their kids seem to change. The climax is amazing and at the same time incredible sad.

Wickus v (fr) wrote: Good entertainment, not a GREAT film, but worth a watch! I love Bob Franklin, the bloke is hilarious. Seeing Mick Molloy doing "The Pendulam" was well worth watching this movie. I particularly liked the character of the record manager. Such a dodgy bloke.

Simon D (ru) wrote: Never judge a dvd by it's cover. I did and regret it. This is not a good film. The storyline is not too bad to be fair but the performances and the cliche warehouse/factory fight ending was bad. It's a werewolf movie where werewolfs fight amongst themselves. That's bad ones that go out and kill people against good ones, that strap themselves up at night so they can't, they just grow beards and struggle away all night every night.

Amanda H (es) wrote: This is really melodramatic and chick flick-ey, and considering the caliber of the actors, it's really not that deep or believable. It kept me occupied for a couple hours, but I wouldn't be at all likely to watch it again. There just seems to be something lacking. Maybe it's chemisry, maybe I just wasn't in the right mood, I don't know. But this is just not all that great.

Julia M (br) wrote: Gary Cole was awesome in the Brady Bunch movie. Billy Petersen was awesome in Manhunter. Together, they're a disaster. Gary's character is whiny and self-involved and Billy plays an insecure pussy. The plot is ridiculous featuring the two best guy friends going to the Phillipines to 'find themselves', oh yeah and also to build a giant hotel in the sky. The movie's only redeeming qualities were seeing Billy's naked ass over and over again, and a strange yet somehow enthralling three-way between Billy, Gary and an Australian woman.

Jessie R (nl) wrote: This movie is from a very sadistic mind, watch if you dare but be warned this is a mind blowing experience! This movie makes the saw series look like a joke and is a great soicial commentary on greed and extremism!

Senor C (ru) wrote: I was hoping for good things from this late entry into the 80s slasher genre..the cover looked promising but it's all pretty substandard (including the killer's identity) after you get away from the chop-chop-chop

Walter M (us) wrote: In "Violence at Noon," Shino(Saeda Kawaguchi), a maid, is attacked and raped by Eisuke(Kei Sato) who is from her home village and according to him once saved her life. Once the police arrive, Shino surprisingly does not give him up, despite Eisuke being the nefarious High Noon Assailant and killing her employer. Instead, she writes Matsuko(Akiko Koyama), a schoolteacher and Eisuke's wife, asking what to do next. "Violence at Noon" is a beautifully photographed, well-edited and potentially provocative movie that simply left me cold. None of these characters can escape their past with Matsuko literally being haunted by the ghost of Genji(Rokko Toura) who once had a chance to pursue a successful political career before committing suicide. In fact, starting with Matsuko's parents after a flood destroys their farm, there is much talk of suicide in the movie, but little of the accompanying hopelessness which would normally lead to such a drastic and ultimate action. Yes, being lonely can be a hard thing to endure but it is not the end of the world by any means.

Paul C (it) wrote: Usually Flynn/Walsh films are very entertaining but this film plods on in the extreme. Using lots of stock footage, and lacking enough action scenes, this still could have been interesting if the characterization had been more developed - unfortunately Flynn just doesnt have the acting chops to carry this movie - disappointing.
