Trouble B (au) wrote: Brilliant use of low-budget effects, and overall a very original and amusing premise. Isn't afraid to show the 'chavs' who defend their tower block as the ruthless ruffians they are, yet keeps them likable.
Cordell T (ru) wrote: Absolute garbage after 1.5 hrs, Tyler Perry ruins the movie with crazy twists that do not work and the unrealistic message of hope and redemption that he always tries seems terribly lost with this misguided script....all men should avoid this chick movie which could have been called the Black Sex in the City....garbage.

Carlo M (br) wrote: Very delicate, warm and beautiful movie. While different from most movies of Lynch, it actually has the same delicate touch as the Elephant Man, which also was based on a true story.
DEE WASH THE KING (au) wrote: Great movie about a good up and coming fighter and his female manager.
Kristen S (de) wrote: I just can't believe this movie didn't get better reviews. Walter Matthau is amazing, as usual, if not better than usual. This movie has made me laugh, and every single time, has made me cry. And I value it as Matthaus last film.

Steve W (fr) wrote: An underrated werewolf movie gem. Michel Pare plays a creepy werewolf, and the design and transformation is fantastic. One of the best, actually. The kid is annoying, and the protagonist does average. A different story for once, with good special effects, and its a pretty decent movie.

Lace (au) wrote: A dog found in a local kennel is mated with Satan and has a litter of puppies, one of which is given to a family who has just lost their previous dog to a hit & run. The puppy wants no time in making like Donald Trump and fireing the mexican housekeeper, how festive. Only the father suspects that this canine is more then he appears, the rest of the family loves the demonic pooch. So it's up to dad to say the day. This late 70's made for tv horror flick has little going for it except a misplaced feeling of nostalgia. When I saw this as a kid I found it to be a tense nail-biter, but revisiting it as an adult I now relize that it's merely lame, boring, and not really well-acted in the least bit.My Grade: DReviewed by Kevin O'Keefe on IMDB

Sarah T (gb) wrote: Not a particularly bad film but neither a good one at that. I mostly was interested in the stop motion or claymation as these films are few & far between, let alone some of the voice cast intrigued me. I suppose it's worth a watch if for no other reason than the stop motion animation but just once is plenty.
