White Slaves of Chinatown

White Slaves of Chinatown

The first in a series of fetishistic mid-'60s exploitation features, White Slaves of Chinatown follows the beautiful, brutal Olga (Audrey Campbell) as she bends and eventually breaks the wills of a group of young female runaways and ex-convicts. Olga procures prostitutes and pushes heroin for the syndicate, confining and torturing her pretty victims in a private dungeon located in New York City's sinister Chinatown. Diplomat's daughter Frenchy is forced to write letters to her father asking for money when she's not squirming topless in her squalid cell. Lola and Collette are subjected to a variety of ordeals including stocks, crucifixions, cigarette burns, and Chinese water torture.

White Slaves of Chinatown torrent reviews

Alvin Ian B (fr) wrote: I like it. Some characters are introduced thru flashbacks. I love the two lovers (maybe ex-lovers): John Constantine and Zatanna. I wish the two characters (and their relationship) where flesh out more. It could have make this movie longer. It has a dark edge which warranted the R-18 rating but Sam Register's Gods and Monsters, I think, is more darker. It was an adaptation from Justice League Dark comics of DC Comics New 52 run. But this team of Dark Arts experts and mages has Batman by their side while the source comics has not. And I wish I knew what is going around Batman's mind while working with this team. With perfect characterization, this film is 3 1/2 to 4 stars for me.

Vincent O (au) wrote: very powerful... especially the talks from the victims... didn't really like the parts that actors were playing... if it was a war, can we do anything, no... but can we have a war under 'rules with morals'? i don't think so either! but wars still going on...can't wait to watch 'nanking nanking' too!

Bharat G (au) wrote: Theres an interesting story in here somewhere, but its covered up by the confusing three dollar subplot. It just doesn't tie into the movie, which ends of abruptly after wafting around after half an hour. David Wenham's character could be the source of a good inspiration, if you look deep enough.

Daniela B (br) wrote: Probabilmente non un film da 4 stelle, ma dato il turbamento emotivo che produce anche a distanza di giorni dalla sua visione, direi che pu meritarsele... per quanto mi riguarda: colpita e affondata

Chelsea (nl) wrote: this is a good movie from any angle in my opinion. it shows the other side of same sex rape or sexual assault and how tramatizing it can be. i would recomend anyone see it.

Justin W (es) wrote: not as good as the first or second movie, this one follows a new generation of nerds while a certain member of the old generation rejects his former nerd ways. it's really only worth a watch if you enjoy the others in the series....otherwise, don't bother.

Tim G (us) wrote: Michael Winslow (Jones), David Graf (Tackleberry) and George Gaynes (Cmdnt. Lassard) are the only actors who appeared in all 7 Police Academy movies. Steve Guttenberg turned down the lead role and gave a firm "no" to any other Police Academy sequels that might turn up.

Stanley K (nl) wrote: A true HK classic directed by the legendary Stanley Kwan with an amazing script. Pity that you can't find any local film of such high quality nowadays.

Robert R (gb) wrote: It's one thing for a film to make you nostalgic. It's a completely different thing for a film to make you nostalgic about an era you've never even witnessed. In "Radio Days," Woody Allen implements spot-on production design and soundtrack coordination to fully recreate this truly beautiful era from afar. But in addition to this, his film also soars upon the wings of an atypical narrative structure - a "patchwork-quilt-style" of storytelling, if you will - that really instills a sense of authenticity within the audience. At the end of the day, you really do feel like you have spent a few years with all these brilliantly-drawn characters. An incredibly reverent and sentimental slice of Americana that everyone should see.

Carlos M (jp) wrote: An efficient prison break movie that manages to be tense and gripping, even though there is nothing really memorable about the plot and it doesn't even make any attempt to conceal its artificial and clearly manipulative efforts to create suspense in many key scenes.
