But during Humshakals I did something I never ever did before. I left the cinema at the half-time! No matter how bad is a movie, I just survived them all. But Sajid Khan's Humshakals is an absolute profane piece of cinema. Poor physical comedy, slapstick, and dummy ! Its total shame of cinema. After 20 minutes I was horrified! Except good music by himesh reshammiya its total waste. Please for the love of god don't watch Humshakals!

Todd S (es) wrote: This is one of those horror movies that tries to scare you based on the, "it could actually happen' premise. The ending makes the movie. When you finally put it all together at the end, you realize that eventhou most of the performances sucked, and the story was kinda confusing, it was actually very clever. Up until that point, it's jumpy and confusing as hell, but I can promise you it will keep you thinking and you won't have any idea until the end.

Anthony D (ca) wrote: A very insightful, jarring documentary about the financial state of our nation with strong warnings about where we are headed in the long run. An eye-opener if you are completely unaware of the problem and provides valuable information even if you are. Fair and non-partisan for the most part, although it does clearly seem to favor the Clinton administration for its balancing of the budget and takes a less favorable attitude towards Reagan and Bush for the opposite reason. It's a PBS documentary; what do you expect. Could go deeper into problems underlaying the core of our financial system, including the federal reserve and the problems associated with fiat currency. A good very good starter for those who are not political or economic experts, however, one which hopefully will encourage people to dig deeper and support politicians who offer real solutions to our problems (one such politician, Ron Paul, appears in the documentary and plays a prominent role in some interviews). Seems especially prescient considering it was made before Obama became president. A must-see.

Do you believe in happy endings? I do isn't funny? even if the girl does'nt get the guy in the end.

Nina M (jp) wrote: I have to admit, the story is very good. A good periodic drama, with a strong love story. The movie has great actors, even Hugh Grant. I've never really liked that guy, but he does a good job in this movie - and he's actually cute (I never thought I'd say that!). Must be Grant's best movie performance. James Wilby, never heard of him, but he did a great job as well. So far it's all good. Still, 2 h and 19 min? Waaaay too long! It could have been really nice had it been a tad shorter. As it is, I had to have several pauses from it, because it was too boring and slow-paced. I want to love it, but I can't. Sorry!

Joshua Y (it) wrote: This captured me at first, but then lost me about an hour in. It's too bad, it had promise at the start. Had flashes of a less serious North by Northwest comedy, but it didn't stand up in the end.

Francis M (mx) wrote: I like Jess Franco, sometimes. This time, I was a bit bored, too much soft porn, no horror at all. I'll stick to other films in this genre.

Francisco L (br) wrote: Original for this genre with a good cast, but with a boring story that make us turn off the TV

Jeff B (ca) wrote: Good story, but a little light on the gags for a Marx Brothers movie. It's interesting to see a young Lucille Ball, even if she didn't have much to do here.

Mike M (br) wrote: Much better than its reputation for being a big budget flop. A great self parody of action movies with fun action. While sappy in its hero worship, it has great fun with fantasy vs. reality. Fun cameos and an interesting concept that doesn't always produce but comes close. Another movie that grows on you.

SagaciousFrank (au) wrote: I can't understand why this film has received such a bad rap from audiences here on RT. I haven't read the book, but regardless, it's well shot and directed (it is Spielberg after all) with great specials effects and the cinematography is nice once you get used to the grainy washed out pallete. There's some nice action and suspenseful moments, and besides the the mildly annoying screaming girl part, Spielberg shows Roland Emerich that it's possible to shoot a more focused character driven disaster movie. 4/5

Ryan V (ru) wrote: Setting this in Spain was a rather interesting touch. While the werewolf makeup isn't that great, Oliver Reed gives a wonderfully intense and moody performance that would make Lon Chaney proud.
