Shane J (ca) wrote: Michael jai White is awesome but this was disappointing. nothing wrong with the action scene all are pretty good but the film plods along and really bores in parts. It does seem to set up a decent franchise(or even tv show) though which I'd be interested in seeing at least.

AlSameer C (ru) wrote: The Dark Knight Rises is like Return Of The Jedi, the weakest of the trilogy but still tons of fun to be held. OK, what did I like? Tom Hardy is a great Bane, Anne Hathaway was a good Catwoman, and the action is long with consequences(Bane breaking Batman like in the comics). However, Batman is absent for most of the movie and this sets up like thousands of plot points(even the ending where John Blake becomes Robin?)Overall, this movie is a slight disappointment but still wraps one of the best trilogies. Many have become mixed on this.

Brett H (br) wrote: A violent, gritty, and memorable crime thriller that shows Jason Patric and Ray Liotta at the top of their game as a perfectly matched pair of narcotics detectives haunted by their respective pasts. Featuring one of the most intense opening chases I've ever seen, the film jumps into action right out the gate and barely lets up. Joe Carnahan's adrenaline-fueled direction is centre-stage and the grim world the film inhabits leaves the audience with an unclean feeling. The story is a bit familiar for the cop genre, but the brewing darkness and unfolding mystery engage right up until the final, ambiguous shot. This isn't a pleasant film to sit through, but the two powerful performances and realistic portrayal of a crime-ridden city make it worth the effort!

Bengel W (ru) wrote: Americans shooting Americans again, makes for a fine quality production that is well photographed and written allowing for strong entertainment. The actors weep and scream to the delight of those watching the mayhem, as bullets fly and people die. Lighting is exceptional on the cars and in the homes making a great visual that adds to the characters. Nibbles: Mandarin Oranges.
